He's here!

Our new baby boy was born safe and sound into his daddy's hands (I wanted to catch, but things didn't work out that way) last Thursday at 2.20am, with much love and thanks to the toilet for all the support it gave me. Midwife arrived shortly afterwards, and full birth story will be written up at some point in the not too distant future. It was great, though. Oh, and the reason I was so wide? 9lbs, 1oz. No wonder... he looks long too...
